There aren’t a lot of shortcuts in constructing a long-lasting brick house, but it’s never too late to start (check out those Tower of Pisa repairs). The piggy lesson? Hard work, attention to yourself and your needs, and dedication to your goals pays off. While the first two pigs tossed their abodes together quickly to have more play time, the third pig carefully created a plan and followed through in the construction. The efforts paid off handsomely. By looking ahead and creating a long-term solution, piggy number three is better prepared to weather life’s inevitable storms, the occasional bad guy, enjoy and a comfy fireplace to sit near (rather than in).
Now, here’s a secret. All three pigs could have built using bricks and still faced similar results as they did with their straw and wood abodes. It could also be said that a straw or stick house could be built that would be as lasting as brick. It begins with the foundation, your attention to detail and craftsmanship, and continues on through your focus on the desired outcome. Just like life.
